I’m not sure which came first, the term “dive bar” and The Dive, but the meanings are synonymous. The Dive is the place to be for all of your happy hour needs, daily.
From 4-7 the place gives you free pizza just to drink there. At $2 for a microbrew pint, they are basically paying you to get you drunk. Their sanitary conditions might not be the most high standards, but if you can see past that, I say go in, stuff your face with as much pizza as you can and get out of there before 7 oclock. This is when the ash trays come out, the pizza goes away, and the beers go up $1.50.
